You would not be alone if you imagined Personal Training to be just about taking people to gyms and shouting at them to lift heavy weights?!

Is that really what Personal Training is all about? Not as far as I am concerned...

I believe that Personal Training is about so much more than that.

The emphasis is on the word 'Personal.' It is my desire to use my skills and experience to help you achieve your health and fitness goals and those take many forms. And it doesn't stop there. I aim to help you make those changes a permanent feature of your life, so you can avoid the yo-yo effects of weight gain, or lethargy, caused by periods of inactivity and, as a result, feel permanently healthier, fitter, more confident and happier about life so that you can get the most out of every day.

Getting the right tools and confidence

Once I have given you the tools and confidence you can take that forward yourself without having to rely upon a Personal Trainer every day or week. Of course I will always be there for you when you need that extra motivation, or a change in your exercise schedule or nutritional programme, or even a change of direction. That is why you will find that my services take a wider view. You can tap into any aspect.

Help to regulate body fat levels

I know many people who struggle to regulate their body fat levels and who have asked for advice about weight management and nutrition but have no desire to do any exercise. No problem - the 'Personal' element means helping individuals with what they need and want to achieve, not imposing a regime on anyone. If on the other hand you are looking for challenging exercise programmes that will build muscle, burn fat and increase strength then I can personalise exercise activities designed to help you achieve those goals.
